Improve your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.
Therapy for body image & disordered eating.
We help people of all backgrounds and genders change their relationship with food and their body.
When you feel overwhelmed by constant thoughts about your eating habits or your body, the impacts can show up everywhere— your mental and physical health, your work, and your relationships. Even socializing can be difficult in the midst of anxiety about how you feel in your body and what the food environment will be.
You may feel caught in a cycle that you’re unsure how to break or disrupt. Sometimes, the cycle looks like eating or overeating in response to certain emotions, restricting to “make up for it,” abiding by strict food rules, “working off” food with exercise, or other patterns of thinking or behaving around food. And sometimes the cycle actually starts with trauma, family of origin concerns, or other pieces of your history.
We understand the complexity of disordered eating and body image concerns—including how difficult it can be to seek support. Addressing these challenges requires effort, and we will be here to support and empower you throughout the healing process, because everyone’s recovery journey is unique and can include both successes and setbacks. Together, we’ll work at your own pace to heal from whatever has led to the feelings about yourself, others, and the world around you that fuel your struggles today.

Find balance, consistency, and self-attunement.
our approach
We believe in meeting you where you are and addressing your challenges at the source.
In therapy, we can help you differentiate messages about idealistic body types and the moralization of food. We will explore beliefs from family, friends, or culture that might have influenced the negative ideas and feelings you have about body size, food habits, or exercise.
We believe and uphold the concept of health at every size because we know that not one body or person is the same and their value is not inherently tied to how they look or what they eat. With a dedicated therapist, you can find balance, consistency, and support to build a more attuned relationship to yourself and a more confident relationship with food and your body, no matter what that looks like for you.
Therapy for disordered eating and body image isn’t a magic fix and doesn’t always follow a straight line. This process can take patience and an openness to learning how to relate to yourself and others in new ways. Our goal is to be someone you can trust to offer the stability you need through the ups and downs.
